I totally forgot about this until I was uploading pictures from my camera today. A couple of weeks ago, Heidi and I were on our way to Card Night, and when we walked out the back door, this is the sight that greeted us...
The YSA ward I used to be in was doing balloon rides for FHE. Heidi's friend Marian and her uncle did this for the ward last year, as well. It's kind of fun to find a hot air balloon in your back yard. As Heidi and I were driving away, we could see all of the neighbors out on their back porches watching the balloon, and a bunch of the neighborhood kids were running toward the park. I wonder if any of them managed to bum a ride.
